Discussion:

There is a virtually identical drawing in the Drawings Collection (Kupferstich-Kabinett) of the Dresden State Art Collections (Staatlichen Kunstsammlungen). See: Julius Vogel, Otto Greiner (Bielefeld and Leipzig: Velhagen & Klasing 1925), pg. 36, ill. 45.  The existence of two nearly identical examples of this drawing is a mystery.  The most likely explanation is that Greiner made a copy, tracing the original, at the request of a valued collector after he had committed to sell the original to the Dresden Kupferstich-Kabinett in 1898.
