Hans Karl Eduard von Berlepsch-Valendas (St. Gallen 1849-1921 Munich), Zurich. Berlepsch-Valendas was a Swiss architect, designer, writer, and painter, active in Munich. Influenced by William Morris and having professional contacts with Charles Rennie Macintosh, among other Arts and Crafts movement, Garden City movement, and art nouveau figures, Berlepsch-Valendas was an important participant in the Munich Secession.
